Entrepreneur Jesse Itzler chronicles his month of living and extreme fitness training with a Navy SEAL in the New York Times and #1 LA Times bestseller Living With a Seal, now with two bonus chapters.

Entrepreneur Jesse Itzler will try almost anything. His life is about being bold and risky. So when Jesse felt himself drifting on autopilot, he hired a rather unconventional trainer to live with him for a month-an accomplished Navy SEAL widely considered to be "the toughest man on the planet"!

Living With a Seal is like a buddy movie if it starred the Fresh Prince of Bel- Air. . .and Rambo. Jesse is about as easy-going as you can get. SEAL is. . . not. Jesse and SEAL's escapades soon produce a great friendship, and Jesse gains much more than muscle. At turns hilarious and inspiring, Living With a Seal ultimately shows you the benefits of stepping out of your comfort zone.

  • Impressive beasts!

Great and enjoyable read. Motivating, eye opening and a bit of bittersweet sadness. It makes me so thankful to have warriors like SEAL defending our freedoms but also a bit sad to see some SEALs wired in such a way that they don’t get to enjoy life as many of us do. Geat read Jesse and thank you.

  • Couldn’t put it down

I’m a professional baseball player for the Atlanta Braves. I literally never read books because I can’t find one that interests me. I will read for 15 minutes and not know anything I just read. I read this book because a teammate told me they were reading it and I read it in a week and it was amazing. Cover to cover. I had a feeling who SEAL was because I’ve heard of the legend before I read this. Absolutely great read for anyone! Highly highly recommend!!
  • Impossible Isn’t Acceptable

The best part of the book is gaining insight into SEALs mindset. As much as you can, anyway. It’s unbelievable what he is able to accomplish bc impossible isn’t acceptable. The mind is really such a powerful organ, and we limit ourselves daily because we don’t push through the discomfort. No matter what it is. I loved this book. It was funny and a great read. The mental toughness displayed is more inspiring than any race or physical accomplishment noted in the book. In part, because I feel very weak in that area. It left me in awe and I have mad respect for SEAL! What a man. I can only imagine the life he lived to be able to do what he does. I will be reading his book “Can’t Hurt Me” next.

  • Self indulgent twaddle

Should be called “One Month in the Life of a Self-Indulgent Dork”. Itzler’s tale is extremely dull and not worth the cost of the book. “SEAL”, as Goggins is referred to in the book, is portrayed as insane. I doubt that’s the case, and The book goes between Itzler casually discussing his wealth - private jets, his “perfect” custom steam room, etc., not to mention the whole conceit of paying Goggins to upend his life and live with him for a month because he was “in a rut” - I found myself flipping the pages as fast as I could to see if there was some redeeming value to this drivel. I found none. If interested in Goggins, buy his book, not this one.
