Description

Originally published as an e-book that became a controversial media phenomenon, No More Mr. Nice Guy landed its author, a certified marriage and family therapist, on The O'Reilly Factor and the Rush Limbaugh radio show. Dr. Robert Glover has dubbed the "Nice Guy Syndrome," trying too hard to please others while neglecting one's own needs, thus causing unhappiness and resentfulness. It's no wonder that unfulfilled Nice Guys lash out in frustration at their loved ones, claims Dr. Glover. He explains how they can stop seeking approval and start getting what they want in life, by presenting the information and tools to help them ensure their needs are met, to express their emotions, to have a satisfying sex life, to embrace their masculinity and form meaningful relationships with other men, and to live up to their creative potential.

While this is a life changing book, it does not have the complete text. I purchased the audio book to listen to while I read this book (visual plus auditory learning). Don’t let it stop you from purchasing the book as the heart of it is still there and it will still change your life!

There is much to learn from this book. I learned that individuals either create or select the environments they live in, their environment is rarely forced upon them (excluding children). With this in mind, it becomes the responsibility of the individual to correct themselves in order to correct their environment and the behaviors of those around them.

I would recommend that EVERY guy read this book. It’s a relatively short and an easy read with very entertaining stories and what I believe the best advice you could get as a man. I can’t think of a better way for it to be written. I don’t believe it matters who you are, this book will allow you to understand Nice Guys and will help you identify if you are one, how to fix it. Dr. Glover this book saved my life, I appreciate the time you took to write this and to relate with me through your words on a deeper level than anyone ever has.

I have always felt like I had this swirling black hole of “not OKness” rivaling with my inner man. The author of this book completely cleared this up and in just 2 short days after reading, I have felt more like a man than I ever have in my entire life. All it took for me was for me to actually identify the reasons why I was feeling the way I felt. The author of this book actually helped me truly identify my irrational and incorrect childhood relationship with my mother that had turned me into the “girly man” that women aren’t attracted to. I can’t thank this book enough for turning a new leaf in my life and I am so excited for the future ahead. Being a man in today’s female driven world is okay. Do you want to know why 50% of marriages don’t work? Read. This. Book.

This book will change your life. If you are in love with the norm and enjoy punishing yourself then this book is not for you. Be prepared to talk to your wife about who you really are and be set free.
