“In Britney Spears’s memoir, she’s stronger than ever.” —The New York Times

Over 2 million copies sold of the “moving” (Time), “powerful” (Los Angeles Times), “radiant” (The New York Times), “poignant” (Vogue) #1 New York Times bestseller. The Woman in Me is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.

In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.

Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

What an eye opening story. It will make you think twice about criticizing people that you truly know nothing about. I have never respected Britney more than I do after reading this book.

(The fans were the ones who helped shed light and gave her hope to begin pushing for change👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽) I’m glad Britney is free from the main villain in her life story: Her father and his conservatorship. She didn’t have that solid foundation of home/family to begin with. She had to maneuver through the music business that slowly chipped away at her innocence while being watched under a magnifying glass. Media and Paparazzi was stupid, ridiculous to mess up this girl since 15 years old! (‘Cry Me A River’ has a new perspective for me now😱😟 I liked that song when it came out.. ) I think she should sue for her money back from her Dad but I know that’s another battle in itself. I understand that she just wants peace and real loving, praying people around her and her boys🙏🏽💞
