My second read through of this book and it still makes me cry. The best book of the series so far. The plot as it goes from precarious to perilous is not only entertaining but also gives the characters so much growth. So many hopes for the next books coming with many little unfinished plot points that I’m looking forward to resolution with.

When I finished the first and second book, I thought that those were great. But this one!!! I’m truly in awe at the rollercoaster it took me on. I’ve never cried so much while reading a book before. Beautifully written. I don’t know how she does it. I can visualize everything and every detail seamlessly. 10/10

This book was absolutely crazy in the best way. I was initially worried the entire plot would stagnate around Feyre's new whereabouts following the last cliffhanger, but the story took off immediately. Watching Feyre utilize her sharp intelligence to outmaneuver the enemy was spectacular. Her deceptive plotting was devilish and captivating—I was cheering her on every step of the way! (And what she did to that priestess? Pure, satisfying retribution. Go Feyre!) This was a total page-turner. Without giving spoilers, there were so many jaw-dropping reveals, yet enough questions left unanswered to keep me desperate for the next book. Also, it’s comforting to know that some things never change: Tamlin is still unbelievably annoying. 🙄 My only critique: The frequent use of "bargains" felt like a cheat code —a bit of a cop-out to ensure things didn't end too tragically. However, I am so incredibly glad I stuck with this series. SJM's plotting and character work are truly chef's kiss!🤌✨
