I get it, Ms. Gockel. Thank-you for writing this. I hope it changes some attitudes.

I became a fan of C. Gockel during the first chapter of her “I Bring the Fire” series. In fact I enjoyed “ Wolves” so much it’s one of the few times I’ve read a complete series without reading something different in between books. Anyway I became one of her Arc readers, so received an advance copy in return for a honest review. I found the first book in the “Archangel Project” rather confusing and wasn’t sure I was going to like this series nearly as much as “I Bring the Fire” however during “Archangel Down” we’re introduced to maybe my favorite character in all Science Fiction, 6T9. The idea of a self aware pleasure ‘bot who finds himself celibate because of random circumstances, which are beyond his control, while battling to save Universe is outrageously fun. What adventures will C. Gockel think up for 6T9 next? I read “Starship Waking” in one sitting. Perhaps I should have spread it out so the wait for the next book wouldn’t seem as long.
