The Death Cure: by James Dashner | Conversation Starters
The Death Cure is James Dashner's third book in The Maze Runner series. The story opens with Thomas in the white room he was put into at the end of The Scorch Trials. Thomas and his friends are finally reaching the end of the trials. WICKED thinks they finally have a cure for the Flare. However, Thomas and his friends still do not fully trust WICKED. When they propose a brain surgery on Thomas, things become intense. Thomas and his friend decide to escape WICKED Headquarters and head to Denver, which has become overrun with the Flare. There's also another group thrown into the mix, The Right Arm, who has plans of their own.
The Death Cure was said to have mastered the formula for being action-packed by Kirkus Reviews. The Death Cure has a rating of four out of five stars on Goodreads, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.
