It makes you have to choose a side. Will you root for Light, or for L? It’s intense, and I love it.

This was the very first Manga I have ever read. I've read comics since I was a teenager, I'm now in my mid thirties, and have been hesitant to pick up a Manga. I loved the first volume of DeathNote and plan to start the second Volume as soon as I'm done writing this review.

A notebook of death falls to earth. Then an epic struggle between two humans begin. Both thinking they are on the side of justice. Light vs L. With a god of death caught in the middle. Death Note is one of my favorite stories ever. I got hooked on the Anime years ago. If you enjoy thrillers this is the story for you. Everyone should give this manga a try!
