You've been lifting for a few years. When you take your shirt off, do you look like a professional athlete? Do you even look like you work out?

Many fitness "experts" defend weights and cardio like they are infallible, but where are the results? Why does almost nobody look even marginally athletic?

Fitness may be the most failed human endeavor, and you are about to see how exercise science has missed some obvious principles that when enacted will turn you into the superhuman you always wanted to be.

In Weight Lifting is a Waste of Time, Dr. John Jaquish and Henry Alkire explore the science that supports this argument and lay out a superior strength training approach that has been seen to put 20 pounds of muscle on drug-free, experienced lifters (i.e., not beginners) in six months.

  • Read this and buy an X3

This book throughly explains the theory behind the X3 system and the reason it was created. I stumbled upon it during COVID when gyms started shutting down, although it has been around much longer. Too many people quickly dismiss the product without spending time with it and researching it. If you have any doubts about training with variable resistance or the X3 product specifically i think you should give this book a read. Dr. John Jaquish cites his sources and the studies presented here. When you seriously consider everything presented and come with an open mind, it all makes sense. I’m hoping now that this book is published it will open up more serious dialogue about the X3 system and variable resistance as a replacement for weight training. Every time that idea is presented it just gets shut down by people that aren’t open to anything that doesn’t involve iron, without any good arguments. I recommend this book to anyone that performs strength training, weights or otherwise. Give it a chance.
