Hunted by Darkness

A great 4.5 stars for Hunted by Darkness is book four in the Darkness Series by Katie Reus. I really enjoy reading this series and the books centered around this paranormal world created by Ms. Reus. This is the story of Bo and Nyx. These are two of my favorite “extra” characters from previous books in this series. However Hunted by Darkness can be read by itself as a stand-alone and still not take away from the story. If you want to get more back story on the characters and their interaction I would recommend reading the other books in the series first, but it totally unnecessary for you to do that to enjoy this book. Bo is a half demon club owner. He owns the club where the paranormals go to play. You have vamps, shifters, fae, demon and the like all mixing it up. Nyx works for Bo at the club. Bo is a complete, over-the-top alpha male. He, of course has a thing for Nyx. Nyx, who has some nasty parents, (one is a goddess and the other a fae prince) is just trying to have a life on her own away from them. However, she owes her mother a favor and this sets the basis for the plot in this book. Not going to write any spoilers but the action is great. The charisma is there as well as the heat between Bo and Nyx. I honestly love this series and especially these characters. I would recommend this book and any other in this series.
